What To Know
All charters are private and allow for up to six (6) guests maximum on board.
Rates are per hour, not per person.
Your charter rate covers the boat, crew, fuel, fishing licenses, tackle, bait, ice, expert assistance, and fish cleaning once back at the dock.
Your rate does not include gratuities. It is customary to tip the mate 15%-20% of the total charter cost.
Prior fishing experience is not necessary.
Kids of all ages are welcome. We are family friendly.
We have A/C. The Sure Lure has an enclosed cabin with A/C, seating, and a lavatory, and a large open-air deck with ample fishing area for all aboard.
What To Bring
You are responsible to provide your own food, water, drinks (please no glass bottles), sunscreen, ice chests, plastic baggies (to store your fish filets), cameras, and whatever else keeps you happy. If you have any questions on what to bring, call Captain Don at (850) 376-8399.

What To Wear
We recommend deck-friendly footwear (deck gripping flip flops, “crocs”, sneakers, etc.), as well as lightweight apparel to suit the pleasant Gulf weather conditions. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are highly recommended. On breezy Spring and Fall days, you may also want to bring a light jacket. Check the weather in advance to best plan for your fishing attire.
Where’s The Boat
The Sure Lure is located in the Destin Fishing Fleet Marina at 210 Harbor Blvd (HWY 98) in Destin, Florida on the Destin Harbor (on the water below Brotula’s Restaurant). Ample parking is available.
Payment Methods and Cancellation Policy:
We accept all major credit cards.
A $500 deposit is required to hold the boat for your charter date.
The balance of your charter trip is due in full on the day of your charter.
Trip balances paid with credit card, will incur 3.5% convenience fee.
Customer cancellations are accepted up to 14 days prior to charter for deposit refund.
Customer cancellations within 14 days of charter will forfeit deposit.
In the event the captain cancels the charter due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or trip credit will be issued.
No-shows on the day of charter will be charged the full charter trip rate reserved.
